Pete Wain

Pete is an award-winning GIS specialist experienced in managing successful geospatial projects in agriculture, environment, natural resources, public and commercial sectors.

Pete has worked in Natural England, Environment Agency, Defra, Wildlife Trusts and local government before starting his own business – Mapman Ltd – providing bespoke consultancy and hosted GIS services built upon his partnership with Esri UK.

He is Head of Platform at Beyond Zero and is responsible for understanding clients’ business challenges and designing solutions to deliver successful outcomes.

Pete is a Chartered Geographer (CGeog GIS) and Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society with IBG (FRGS). He is accredited with ArcGIS Online Specialty status by Esri.

Pete leads Beyond Zero’s data collection, processing, visualisation and reporting.
